These are inspired by Neanderthal cultures, imagined talismans fashioned from fabric and bone, hair and shell. The skill and effort required to bring down these gigantic animals must have required a staggering amount of skill, physical strength and nerve. Considering this led me to fashion these talismans - I imagined they might be concealed in clothing to bestow luck or used in pre-hunting rituals.
