JENNY w’ the AIRN TEETH

Jenny is a Glaswegian ghoul - believed to have prowled around Glasgow Green in the early 1800's on 'beetle feet', is said to have captured badly behaved children and then devoured them with the frenzied gnashing of her iron teeth. She was immortaised in a poem by Alexander Anderson.

Handmade fabric art doll with fabric sculpted and handpainted details, distressed dress with cotton scrim and metallic teeth, plaited wool hair, detachable velvet cloak, beaded hat and matte varnished finish.

Comes in a cloth bag, with label and sari silk ribbon.
