GLAISTIG

The Glaistig is a Scottish supernatural character, sometimes believed to be the ghost of a noblewoman - cursed with immortality in half-woman /half-goat form. Also referred to as The Green Lady, she is often seen mournfully walking through crumbling castles and her approach is heralded by the sound of her hooves.

In more malevolent guise, The Glaistig is known as a drinker of human blood, luring weak menfolk to her lair in order to drain them of sustenance.
